The car, dubbed the [Infiniti] Prototype 9, may look like it should have an old-school V12 under that long hood, but those hoping for the rumble and thunder of a real pre-war race car will be sorely disappointed. Motivation for the Prototype 9 is derived from an electric motor.
What a difference an inline-6 would make. Could have made for a great unveiling of a fantasy brand for Mercedes...
